Hyderabad-based allergy specialist Dr. Hitesh Billa has achieved a rare international distinction by securing the top rank in the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI)–UEMS Knowledge Examination in Clinical Allergy and Immunology. Conducted under the rigorous standards of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), the examination is widely recognised as one of the most challenging global assessments in the field.

The EAACI–UEMS Knowledge Examination attracts experienced specialists from Europe and other regions, testing not only theoretical knowledge but also advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based management of allergic and immunological disorders. Dr. Billa’s first-place ranking places him at the forefront of global allergy practice and reflects the growing international presence of Indian clinicians in highly specialised medical disciplines.
