Shri Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde and Dr Dipak Harke 1st. Indian to achieve 183 World Records and Vice President of International Book of Honour England Presented International Book of Honour England’s prestigious Global Spiritual Leadership Award to
Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Mohini Didi – Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris at Shantivan Campus, Abu Road during inauguration of 3 days Media Conference.

Brahma Kumari Mohini is the present Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris, based in Mt Abu, India. Prior to this she served as Additional Administrative head of Brahma Kumaris and Regional Coordinator of the Brahma Kumaris’ activities in North and South America and the Caribbean.

She was born in India in 1941 to a philanthropic family and educated at the University of Delhi. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, political science and journalism. Her early choices in life were affected by witnessing human suffering during the partition of India. She began to see that, though humans do suffer from outside causes, there are inner ways to alleviate suffering through spiritual knowledge and practice. She also became interested in the power of spiritual knowledge to allow for connection with God.

She met the Brahma Kumaris when she was a teenager and began studying and serving with the BK’s while she was still in college. For over 60 years she has opened new fields of service for the organization, establishing a regional headquarters for the Americas in 1978 and representing the BK’s as an NGO at the United Nations from 1981.

She considers meditation and spirituality to be most valuable when they are integrated into life. Since 1998 she has supported an initiative for leaders called the Call-of-the-Time Dialogues and Retreats to provide spiritual sustenance and respite for those who have extensive spheres of influence in serving the world. Over a thousand leaders have been served through this initiative.

The same year, under her guidance, the Brahma Kumaris acquired Peace Village Learning and Retreat Center in the Catskill Mountains, two and a half hours north of New York City. Peace Village serves people from all walks of life and all religious and spiritual paths each year. Her gift is a far-reaching vision and the ability to bring people together to bring an idea to reality. In 2006 she had the inspiration to create a book of spiritual knowledge drawing on the extensive knowledge base of the Brahma Kumaris. Two years later, The Story of Immortality was released in print and in audio. The book has found its way into the hands people on all continents.

In March of 2020, in the face of the global covid pandemic, she initiated a nightly zoom broadcast of spiritual talks and meditation to sustain those who were unable to meet in person. The audience for Avyakti Parivar grew to include over a thousand nightly viewers from around the world.

BK Mohini is a deep and subtle introvert who spends much of her time in contemplative silence. She continues to speak widely and write about the role of awakened consciousness in a world in search of wisdom, reflection and transformation.

Brahma Kumaris, officially known as ‘Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya’ is a worldwide spiritual movement dedicated to personal transformation and world renewal. Founded in 1937 in Hyderabad, Sindh (then a part of undivided India) by Prajapita Brahma, Brahma Kumaris has spread to over 110 countries in 5 continents of the world and has had an extensive impact on all sections of the society. It is working as an international NGO, associated with the United Nations Department of Public Relations. The organization is committed to help individuals transform themselves, based on the understanding of their true, spiritual identity, which transcends their mere material existence.

It supports the cultivation of a deep collective consciousness of peace and of the individual dignity of each soul. Being a women – led organization it is widely known as Brahma Kumaris. Even though the founding father of the organization was fondly known as Prajapita Brahma, the first Administrative Head was Mateshwari Jagdamba, fondly known as Mamma.

In 1950, this spiritual group relocated to India, and found place in the beautiful Aravalli Ranges of Mount Abu in Rajasthan. From there, the seed of spiritual knowledge sown, grew gradually and the organization starting spreading its branches in different parts of the country. In 1971, the spiritual knowledge and practice of Raja Yoga spread overseas, with the first foreign centre in London.

After the ascension of Mateshwari Jagdamba to the subtle world in 1965 and Prajapita Brahma in 1969, Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmani was appointed the next Administrative Head of the Institution.

When Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmani left her mortal coil, Rajyogini Dadi Janki , who had played the pivotal role in spreading the Godly Message in almost all the countries of the world, became Administrative Head from 2007. With her tirelessness, dedication, Dadi Janki led the organization until 2020, when she ascended to the subtle world at the age of 104.

Later, Dadi Hridaymohini was appointed the Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris until she attained her angelic form in March 2021. Thereafter, Dadi Ratanmohini Ji took on the mantle of leadership and, with tireless dedication, served the organization until she attained her angelic stage and left her mortal coil on 8th April 2025 at the age of 101. The current Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris is BK Mohini Didi, who continues to guide the organization with spiritual wisdom and unwavering commitment.
