“Khwaja Ji” – A Soulful Sufi Qawwali Music Video That Explores the Mystery of Faith

Mumbai, India – “Khwaja Ji” is a new Sufi Qawwali music video directed and conceptualized by Pallav Jain. Released under 4PM Music, it offers a gentle, open-ended audio-visual journey that invites viewers to reflect on faith, belief, and the unseen signs in everyday life.

The video doesn’t follow a strict story or push one message. Instead, it gently shows how people experience faith differently—as destiny, karma, coincidence, or divine guidance. It leaves the interpretation to the viewer and ends with a simple, powerful question:

“Are the moments we call miracles truly divine interventions, or simply the point where belief begins?”

At its core is a deeply moving Qawwali track composed, arranged, and produced by Abhiroop Arora. The soul-stirring vocals are by Krishna, known for her heartfelt performances in songs like “Maula Mere Le Le Meri Jaan” and “Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar.” The lyrics, written by renowned poet Shakeel Azmi, beautifully capture themes of surrender, inner search, and connection to the divine.

Visually, the film is set in the calm, lush landscapes of Kerala, beautifully captured by cinematographer Ananthan KS. The shots are quiet and contemplative, with natural beauty that supports the music rather than overpowering it. Production design by Alvin Joseph creates a subtle, immersive world, while editor Athul Vijay’s smooth, rhythmic cuts match the flowing rhythm of the Qawwali perfectly.
