Pawan Mishra, CEO of Mennta E-Learning, Critically Injured in Road Accident; To Be Shifted to Bangalore for Advanced Treatment.

Pawan Mishra, the 27-year-old Chief Executive Officer of Mennta E-Learning, remains in critical condition following a severe road accident that occurred near Polytechnic Chowk in Purnia, Bihar, at around 8:30 PM on June 27, 2025. Mishra was riding a two-wheeler along with another individual, Vivek Singh (33), when both were involved in a devastating collision.

Following the accident, both individuals were rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Purnia, where doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize their conditions. Unfortunately, Vivek Singh succumbed to his injuries on the evening of June 28, despite intensive efforts by medical teams.

Pawan Mishra, meanwhile, was transferred to MSH Hospital in Siliguri upon the recommendation of Dr. Ghanshyam Tiwari, Senior Neurosurgeon at GMCH, due to the severity of his brain injuries and internal bleeding. His condition has remained critical, with doctors reporting diffuse axonal injury and cerebral edema—both of which require specialized neurological care.

Hospital sources in Siliguri have confirmed that a dedicated medical team is closely monitoring his condition, and consultations are underway with leading neurosurgeons across India to determine the best course of treatment going forward.

A close aide to the family stated, “The doctors believe that advanced neurological support is essential for Pawan’s recovery. His condition is extremely delicate, and the next few days will be crucial.”
