Following the accident, both individuals were rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Purnia, where doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize their conditions. Unfortunately, Vivek Singh succumbed to his injuries on the evening of June 28, despite intensive efforts by medical teams.

Pawan Mishra, meanwhile, was transferred to MSH Hospital in Siliguri upon the recommendation of Dr. Ghanshyam Tiwari, Senior Neurosurgeon at GMCH, due to the severity of his brain injuries and internal bleeding. His condition has remained critical, with doctors reporting diffuse axonal injury and cerebral edema—both of which require specialized neurological care.

Hospital sources in Siliguri have confirmed that a dedicated medical team is closely monitoring his condition, and consultations are underway with leading neurosurgeons across India to determine the best course of treatment going forward.

A close aide to the family stated, “The doctors believe that advanced neurological support is essential for Pawan’s recovery. His condition is extremely delicate, and the next few days will be crucial.”

Family members, colleagues from Mennta E-Learning, and a growing number of well-wishers from across India have expressed their support and prayers for Mishra’s recovery. His leadership in the digital education space has earned him wide respect, particularly for making professional and academic learning accessible to underrepresented communities.

In his absence, the Mennta E-Learning team is working collectively to ensure continuity of operations while rallying around their founder and leader in this difficult time.

This tragic incident has reignited public concern over road safety and emergency medical infrastructure in semi-urban regions like Purnia. The family has requested privacy and has refrained from making further public statements as they focus entirely on Mishra’s treatment and well-being. More updates will be shared as his medical condition progresses and new developments unfold.
