New Delhi, 2025 – In an era of growing speed and mass production, a new brand is causing a stir by rekindling the allure of slow, handmade craftsmanship. Rasa Home, launched in 2024 by sisters Parul and Pallavi Kejriwal, is more than a home furnishings label – it’s a movement that pairs sustainability, craft, and storytelling in every piece.

An Artist-Led, Artisan-Backed Studio

It is at the core of Rasa Home that there is a special model: it is artist-driven and artisan-supported, so every product carries the stamp of both innovation and heritage. The studio works with trained artisans, including many from less-represented communities, who bring to life designs created by experienced artists. This collaboration yields truly unique home furnishings and decor products that bear the unmistakable mark of originality, attention, and handcraft.

What sets Rasa Home apart today is its focus on sustainability. The brand incorporates upcycling, recycling, and material innovation in its manufacturing processes, transforming waste into gorgeous, useful magic. By focusing on the circular economy, Rasa Home not only reduces its environmental footprint, but it also creates meaningful jobs for uneducated women via skill training programs.

 Roots and Inspiration

For the Kejriwal sisters, the journey started with a combination of curiosity, creativity, and family influence. “We began Rasa Home in 2024. Part of it was boredom and unemployment, but inspiration came from people around us. Our mom, for instance, has been our childhood crafts teacher. We were sewing when most children were playing kith kith,” says co-founder Parul Kejriwal.

Her co-founder and sister Pallavi Kejriwal has a similar view. A 3D visualizer by training, Pallavi discovered her interest in changing residences irresistible. “I began experimenting with embroidery, soap making, and all those oddball ideas. But when I melted my first wax into a mould, it clicked. My passion for turning a home into a house took over, and there was no turning back.”. Now, we hope to etch our own niche, combining quirkiness with offbeat yet necessary craft items for the home.”

A Philosophy of Slow and Sustainable Craft

Rasa Home is a philosophy of slow living. Every product is hand-designed and manufactured in small batches, enabling careful detailing and uncompromised quality. This slow process is a conscious departure from the high-speed consumer economy, where instead it is a celebration of the beauty of patience, craftsmanship, and endurance.

Also significant is the ethical vision of the brand. More than the charm of quirky and offbeat home furnishings, Rasa Home hopes to be a sustainable lifestyle brand one that will be valued by future generations not just for its design but for its principles as well.

 Preserving Handmade Traditions

The brand also promotes the conservation of handcraft traditions. In close collaboration with artisans and craftspeople over generations, Rasa Home keeps traditional methods alive while modifying them to meet modern tastes. This linkage of past and present turns each piece into not only décor but also a story, a memory, and a heritage piece.

 Looking Ahead

While Rasa Home expands, its purpose never wavers: to preserve the wonder of handmade, sustainable, and meaningful design. The sisters are committed to encouraging individuals to view their homes not only as practical spaces, but as works of art, history, and individualism.

In a market dominated by factory-produced homogeneity, Rasa Home is different and shows the world that sustainability and creativity, when paired together, can revolutionize not only homes but lives as well.
